CREDENTIALS

We consider it our job to tackle the challenges that businesses in the Podravje region encounter; we are a helping hand and a co-creator of growth and improved economic conditions.

We couldn’t fulfil our mission without the excellent connections and collaborations we’ve built with our key stakeholders, including municipalities, ministries, inspection services, other regional chambers of commerce and industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, foreign partner organisations, and numerous experts.

Thank you!

Here we highlight the accomplishments by which we have assisted our members.

  • We simplified the procedure for obtaining the A1 form in electronic format.
  • We arranged permits for trucks transporting road freight to pass through the centre of Lenart towards Trate, saving one of our members €10,000 per year.
  • We helped cut the charge for the use of building land for industrial buildings in the Municipality of Maribor by more than 50%, saving businesses more than €2 million each year.
  • We were able to implement workplace adjustments in 15 enterprises whose economic activities are deemed especially vulnerable to work-related accidents.
  • We have created e-classrooms for employers and others responsible for workplace health and safety.
  • We were successful in obtaining co-financing for the cost of modifying 60 workplaces in the region of €5,000 per modification.
  • We supplied training and psychological counselling, as well as technical informational and promotional material, on the issue of mental health to 11,000 employees.
  • We created a programme to provide comprehensive support to companies in managing and preventing psychological risk factors (the PSDT programme).
  • We developed an innovative and thorough business model for active and healthy employee ageing, designed to assist companies in creating, evaluating and executing measures for dealing with older employees and reducing absenteeism. The model was tested with 120 businesses as a pilot project.
  • We established a strategic e-platform for managing older employees.
  • We formed a network for cross-border business partnerships and collaborative initiatives to help female entrepreneurs from Slovenia and Austria enter new markets.
  • In the context of the regioWIO project, we reached tangible agreements on joint collaboration in foreign markets.

The project’s outputs would not be feasible without the collaboration of local stakeholders and project partners, to whom we are grateful.

We are the proud holders and co-creators of prominent projects in the Podravje region and throughout Slovenia.
