AIM:

The INTERREG SI-AT project H2GreenTECH enhances the regional cross border cooperation for research and innovation in the field of Hydrogen technology between Slovenia and Austria.

Hydrogen (H2) is a key technology for achieving Europe’s climate and energy goals.” (Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President EC for Energy Union). The main aim of the H2GreenTECH project is to strengthen cross border R&I capacities in advanced hydrogen technologies by developing synergies between enterprises, R&D centres and higher education. Project address the cross-border challenge of fragmented R&R and great potential of the R&R of hydrogen technology in transport at the programme area.

CORE ACTIVITIES:

  • Improve better access and use of research infrastructure on hydrogen technologies in Slovenia and Austria with the establishment of One-stop-shop Hydrogen Center for enterprises, researchers, and students, with clear strategy and action plan till 2025.

  • Build-up of competences of enterprises, R&D centres, and higher education with implementation of joint CB projects on hydrogen technologies with developed three demonstration models for the practical demonstration of the developed prototypes and educational module.

  • Facilitate the CB cooperation among research institutions, enterprises, and public administration with development of the cross-border Roadmap on low-carbon technologies with the commitment to implementation and dissemination.

  • With the innovative approach of the quadruple helix, the partnership establishes an urgently needed One-stop-shop Hydrogen Center and B2B platform. Improved innovation capacity of all stakeholders contributes to greater competitiveness for the programme area important hydrogen technology with the possibility of a follow-up.
